UK-based composer Christopher Macarthur (b.1994) has crafted a graceful approach to contemporary ambient and minimalist works across a number of releases for Opal Tapes, Perfect Aesthetics, Vaagner, Eastern Nurseries and Vienna Press as Burning Pyre. Simple and pure in his approach, the results are ultimately gestalt - creating music that is melancholy, meditative and hummable in the same breath.
